Twitter unveiled it’s new homepage today and it’s looking pretty nifty and richer than older one. The new design is much similar to Twitter’s official iPad app, split-screen.
The most important change in design is images and video support (Youtube supported ). You can access all the site features in the right pane and your stream on the left. Navigation bar is moved from the right side of the screen to the top, and keyboard shortcuts and unlimited scrolling have been added for your tweet-reading convenience.
As per official twitter blog
You will now find @mentions, retweets, searches, and lists just above your timeline – creating a single, streamlined view on the left of the screen. On the right, you can see the features you’re familiar with, including whom you recently followed and who recently followed you, favorites, and Trending Topics.
