Micromax’s online venture YU Televentures launched its second Cyanogen-based smartphone on May 12, called the YU Yuphoria along with a YU Fit Band.
The smartphone sports a 5-inch IPS display with 720 x 1080 pixels resolution with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it for protection.
Micromax YU Yuphoria is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 2GB RAM. It also gets 16GB internal storage. Not yet sure about the extending storage via microSD card.

This smartphone sports a 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture for clicking selfies and HD video calls.
This device includes a 2230 mAh battery and also features the Quick charge feature seen mostly in high-end phones. This is the dual SIM smartphone powered by Cyanogen OS 12 (a mod of Android Lollipop 5.0). Yu Yuphoria supports 4G network and features accelerometer, ambient, proximity, gyroscope, and e-compass.
The YuFit fitness band is priced at Rs 999. It can track your steps, activity time and calorie count, while it can also set alarms, get notifications and more.
Micromax YU Yuphoria comes with a metal body and will be available in 2 colors including Buffed black and Champagne gold with white. The phone is priced at just Rs 6,999 comes with many features that are found only in flagship handsets.
