Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet

Earlier this year, in Febuary, the Japanese company, launched the Xperia Z2 Tablet at the Mobile World Congress 2014, which was held in Barcelona. Sony announced at the MWC 2014, that the tablet will be made available globally in March this year. After travelling various parts of the world, the Tablet has finally landed in India, and will be priced at Rs. 49990.

The tablet is offered in two variants, which are the 4G variant and the LTE/3G version. The official website does not list any WiFi only variant of the Xperia Z2 tablet.

Sony’s Xperia Z2 Tablet is the successor of Xperia Z which was launched last year at the Mobile World Congress. Xperia Z2 is a far better and superior in quality from its predecessor. Android 4.4 KitKat is the latest version of Android, which the Xperia Z2 will run on, out of the box.

Sporting a grand 10.1 inch HD TRILUMINOS LED display screen, the tablet is packed with superior display quality, bringing out vibrant and luscious colors. With a size of 6.4 mm and weight of 426 grams, Xperia Z2 is considered “the World’s Slimmest and Lightest” Tablet.

Across the globe, various people use their mobile gadgets for various purposes. The most essential and common use of these gadgets is capturing moments. Sony’s Xperia Z2 tablet may not have the best camera, but it sure lets you capture and share good quality snaps.

The tablet sports an 8.1 MP rear facing camera, and a 2.2 MP secondary, front facing camera. Further, you can save your images, songs, videos, movies, games and other important files and documents on your tablet. Xperia Z2 tablet offers a generous 16 GB internal storage, which is expandable to 64 GB with the help of a MicroSD card.

Loaded with 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, paired with 3 GB of RAM, the tablet ensures impeccable speed, as this processor is the fastest present in the market today. As far as the connectivity options of the device are concerned, the Xperia Z2 tablet enables WiFi, Bluetooth, GLONASS, and DLNA.

Amazing features are frankly of no use, if your tablet doesn’t look spectacular. In the world of colorful devices, Sony’s Xperia Z2 Tablet is available for sale in Black and White only. However, the two variations of the tablet make it look elegant and classy. The Tablet, can be ordered online too. According to the official website of the Japanese manufacturers, Xperia Z2 tablet, is promised to be delivered within 5 to 6 business days, after the order has been placed.

We live in an era, where Science and Technology is the most fundamental aspect of our lives. While most of us are addicted to our mobile devices, different manufacturing companies attempt to compete against each other in order to be the best.

In India, presently Samsung has been by far the most dominating in the field of mobile technology. Sony which is emerging to be among the best poses a great threat to the well established Samsung.

Although the competition is tough, and there are many tablets offering far more superior features than what Sony is offering in its Xperia Z2 Tablet, one cannot simply avoid the fact that, Sony’s latest contribution has taken a step forward from its predecessor.

While the tablet is available for only Rs. 49990, we will have to wait and watch how successful the tablet is going to be among the Indian audience.
