Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and Samsung Nexus Prime Launch

Apple just released the newest version of the system fitted to the iDevice, which is iOS 5 , and the latest creation, the iPhone 4S. Google is doing the same thing by releasing Android 4.0 and Samsung Nexus Prime on Oct 19, 2011. Originally the presentation was to take place on October 11, but with the death of Steve Jobs and respect, Google had decided to postpone the conference for the presentation of Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich and Samsung Nexus Prime, the first smartphone which will be equipped with Android 4.0.

Google had said ”  We believe that this is not the right time to announce a new product as the world pays tribute to Steve Jobs .” But then, life goes on as they say, and Google has officially announced that the presentation of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be held on 19 October, ie, Wednesday at 10 am Paris time.

Ice Cream Sandwich is an important development of Android that we know today who will take the best of Gingerbread, the version of Android smartphone, and Honeycomb, the version of Android for touch pads . To present this new creation, Google introducing Samsung Nexus Prime , which will of course feature this new android os 4.0.

The Samsung Nexus Prime should be equipped with a 4.65-inch screen, a dual processor running at 1.2 GHz, 1GB RAM, 32GB of storage space, a 5-megapixel camera, Full HD 1080p video and the famous NFC chip. All this is not official yet, but if one likes to compare the features of the Nexus Prime with those of the iPhone 4S , we can say that the only negative is the camera, very promising.

It is already clear that Google android is on number one position in the world of smartphone OS and its 190 million devices being equipped with Android , Google may even increase its market share with Android 4.0. It is clear that for Apple, it will become even harder to resist!
