Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a Phones Launched in India

After months of rumors and speculations, the Chinese company, Oppo, launched its latest device Oppo Find 7 along with its companion Find 7a, in India finally.

With the launch of Find 7 in India, the company is set on calling its latest device as the country’s first Smartphone to feature a Quad HD display. As many had already speculated, Oppo also launched 7a, which is a slightly watered down variant of the device. The Smartphones made its debut in China back in May.

According to the reports, the Oppo Find 7 will be available at Rs. 37990 only, and the device will pave its way to the shelves next month. However, its companion Find 7a will be available for Rs. 31990 and will hit the shelves tomorrow itself.

Oppo Find 7 Features & Specs

The long awaited Oppo Find 7 and 7a are loaded with impeccable features, which will definitely lure public’s attention. The 5.5 inch Quad HD (QHD) display of the Find 7 is the main attractive feature of the mobile device. With 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution and 538ppi pixel density, Find 7 has already aroused the feeling of excitement among tech savvies in India.

Find 7 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Oppo calls this version of the operating system as Color OS 1.2. The Smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5GHz just like the higher end phones ruling the market today, which include HTC One (M8) and Sony Xperia Z2. Snapdragon 801 is presently the most powerful SoC in the market.

Find 7 comes with 3GB of RAM, and involves about a generous 32GB internal memory storage, which is expandable with the help of a memory card. However, the company hasn’t yet mentioned the upper limit of the expandable memory.

Oppo Find 7a Features & Specs

On the other hand, the Find 7a sports a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display like most of the other Smartphones. It has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device is loaded with a comparatively slower Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.3GHz, which is coupled with 2GB of RAM.

An internal storage capacity of 16GB is also available and expandable by using a MicroSD card. Apart from the above mentioned, the rest of the other features of Find 7a are exactly same as that of Find 7. For starters, both the devices are fueled with a 3000mAh battery.

The camera, for both Find 7 and 7a is the strongest factor which attracts people toward the Smartphones, especially in India. The Smartphones are packed with an incredible camera which has the capacity to capture pictures of 50 MP, although the camera has a rear sensor of only 13 MP.

The technology used in these cameras is the same as that used in the Nokia Lumia series, which allows oversampling with the Super Zoom feature. Find 7 and 7a have a 13 MP Sony IMX214 CMOS camera. The Smartphones also features a nice 5 MP front facing secondary camera.

As far as the connectivity options are concerned, both the phones share these options as well. Find 7 and 7a supports 3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, USB OTG and AGPS.
