Reasons Why You’re Not Active as A Blogger

You Are Here

Nowadays, blogging is one of the most effective ways of promoting a business. This is why many business owners are blogging their way to success. It is practically easy, does not cost anything yet powerful. This promotion method is very acceptable and pleasant that no one will reject it.

Not active blogger

But despite its positive effects, there are still some people who do not have the urge to engage into blogging. For these people, they have these reasons why they are not active bloggers:

“I’m not familiar with blogging”

Don’t get intimidated by the term “blog” because it is merely a site where you post articles or contents for your audience to read. Research a bit and learn how it works.

You may not have tried it before and don’t know anything about it so it may sound scary at first. But once you have understand what it is, you will discover that being a blogger is rewarding and this will just push you to keep on writing.

“With the heaps of blogs online, what’s the use of adding another one?”

There are individuals who really think this way. But the people who say this clearly do not get the picture. Let’s say, there is a debate on television. Sure, lots of people are also doing the same thing, debating to voice out their own opinions. But wouldn’t it be better if you could also join the discussions instead of just watching or listening on the side? With your participation, your views could be heard too, right?

“There’s nothing to share or write about”

You may be right – but this is only because you haven’t even started writing yet. It is natural that you still don’t know what to write about; you can be clueless in the beginning but after producing articles every day or weekly, you will eventually get the hang of it.

Research and choose topics that you think will be useful to your audience. Make it informative, fun, and easy to read so that your readers will keep coming back for more.

Write about what you are interested in. Share your knowledge, and people with the same interest will want to read the facts that you would impart. Through blogging with good contents, there are 3 things to gain: new customers, impressive business profile, and higher sales return.

“I don’t have time”

You said, “You can’t” because there’s not enough time to do it. Do you know what? Blogging is not something that takes a lot of time. In fact, you could finish a 250-word article in just 30 minutes. The more you become familiar with writing, the faster you will become.

“I’m already using social media”

It is great if you are already using social media for your business. But still, you need something to post on those popular social media like Twitter and Facebook.

You can post the articles on your blog. Also, add the social media buttons on the pages of your blog posts. This will make it easier for your readers to “tweet” or “like” your articles. Definitely, this method will boost your promotion.

To conclude, if you don’t have a blog site yet, set up one today. You may have many reasons for not becoming an active blogger but there are even more reasons why you must blog. Blogging will help you and your business in a lot of ways, so use it and begin reaping all the benefits.
