As I know last month since the Mozilla Firefox upgraded to version 7 and now a new version of Firefox is already on the way, Firefox 8 and it’s available for download. Firefox 8, the fifth new release of the browser this year, will be released next Monday and is now available as a release candidate build.
In this new RC you can see the major bug fixes and changes in Firefox’s add-on installation and management procedure. Add-ons that were installed by third-party applications are disabled by default. If any third party application attempts to install a new extension, Firefox will seek the user’s permission before allowing the extension to be installed.
Some more new features added in the Firefox 8 are: addition of Twitter to the search bar, improved tab animations, improved performance and memory handling when using HTML5.
