Google celebrates 176th birthday of Mark Twain with its latest doodle, which depicts a famous scene from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Mark Twain, was an American author and humorist. He is most noted for his novels, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876), and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1885), the latter often called the Great American Novel.
Following doodle describe the scene from Tom Sawyer which chosen by Google to celebrate the anniversary of his creator’s birth sees Tom painting the fence as punishment by Aunt Polly for dirtying his clothes in a fight with a boy from St Louis.

He achieved great success as a writer and public speaker. Mark Twain died of a heart attack on April 21, 1910 in Redding, Connecticut.
His first book, “The Innocents Abroad,” was published in 1869; “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” in 1876; and “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” in 1885. He wrote 28 books and numerous short stories, letters and sketches.
