Google has released a HTML 5 optimized Google Music Beta player for iOS devices including iPhone and iPad. Music Beta is a new service from Google that gives you instant access to your personal music collection on the web. Google Music does not make much noise since its launch in the spring.
It is true that the service is still restricted to a rather small circle. Quietly, Google has improved access to its online music service from an iPhone or an iPad .
Google Music Beta App :
A new version of Web HTML5 optimized for IOS devices can access the basic features of Google Music . Obviously, this web version is not as good as a native version, but it is still surprising.
When you access the Web application, the interface displays the album artwork on your Google Music Account. Unlike the music you sync from iTunes, which takes up space on your device, Google Music distributes music tracks from the web. You can search by artist, album, song, playlist or genre. Interestingly, this Google Music Web application runs in the background when you close Safari.
Google has also revealed that they will soon release the native app : “We’re considering all options to bring the service to more people, but don’t have anything official to share”, they said. Music Beta is currently only available in the United States.
There is an unofficial Google Music app for iphone in App Store.
