Apple is unstoppable, everything they draw is a success and could not be any less for their the new iPad, in its first weekend sold 3 million new iPad only, excluding the iPad 2 and the first generation iPhone. To give you an idea that are 25% of all tablets sold with Android to remember are several manufacturers.

Looking at the numbers, any tablet with Android reaches this figure, it is said that the Android numbers will not rise and the only manufacturers who approach them are the Fire Kindle and Nook clear that only approach them.
“The new iPad is a blockbuster with three million sold―the strongest iPad launch yet,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “Customers are loving the incredible new features of iPad, including the stunning Retina display, and we can’t wait to get it into the hands of even more customers around the world this Friday.”
The new iPad is already available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, UK and the US Virgin Islands and will be available in 24 more countries starting at 8:00 a.m. local time on Friday, March 23 through the Apple Online Store.
Still the new iPad sells does not compares with iPhone 4S, as they sold 4 million iPhone 4s over one weekend since it’s launch.
